Love for Hunting in Texas
On the recreational side of the ranch, every generation past and present had or has a love for hunting and being in the great outdoors. In the last 30 years we incorporated the hunting program in our ranch by offering hunting opportunities to lease hunters while keeping a block of acreage for family, employees and friends. In 2009 we acquired adjoining acreage to the ranch that was home to some of the best Whitetail Deer Hunting habitat in the Central Texas area. With that, in 2010, HUNT F E HILL RANCH / F. E. HILL OUTFITTERS, LLC was born.
Mature Free Ranging Whitetail Bucks
Hunt F E Hill is made up of 11,700 acres of Trinity River Bottom mixed with beautiful rolling hillsides comparable to the sand hills of Kansas, being the best kept secret in the Texas Deer Hunting world. F. E. Hill Outfitters consistently produces 130”-170” mature free ranging whitetail bucks.
Our property is fertile enough to really make this a great eco system for all wildlife. Beyond the Whitetail Deer Hunting we also offer premier Hog Hunting and Duck Hunting opportunities on our Texas ranch. As a bonus you may harvest as many coyote and bobcat that you want while hunting at Hunt F E Hill Ranch, our cattle would appreciate it greatly and so would we.
Low Fence Hunting in Texas
We pride ourselves on being a 100% LOW FENCE HUNTING, no introduced genetics and many years of strict whitetail deer hunting management practices, while being part of while being a part of Texas Parks & Wildlife Extended Season Conservation Route, Managed Land Deer Permits (MLD-3) statues. We have been able to harvest the required amount of whitetail deer to help grow larger bucks.
Middle Trinity River Conservation Cooperative & Freestone County Game Management Association
Also, F. E. HILL Outfitters acreage is in the heart of the Middle Trinity River Conservation Cooperative (now Trinity Waters). This an alliance put in place in the early 1990s by area landowners that we all agreed to prototypical whitetail deer hunting management practices to harvest mature deer which in turn grows larger deer. The Co-op covers roughly 100,000 acres of the Middle Trinity River Basin that is split between two counties, Anderson and Freestone County. F. E. Hill Outfitters is also very active in the Freestone County Game Management Association “FCGMA”. FCGMA has an annual big buck contest in which 2 of the last 3 years Hunt F E Hill Ranch has produced winners of the contest.
While hunting at the Ranch you can enjoy a laid back atmosphere of hunting with guides that love to hunt as much as you do. We will hunt from tower stands and pop-up blinds as well as utilize the spot and stalk technique. We have many options to structure you and your groups hunting experience. From meat hunting or management deer hunting to a trophy whitetail deer hunt, we will cater to your desire and promise a quality hunt to a price range that meets your needs.
